H Club Athletic Fund: Creating Affinity and Support for "Hawaii's Team"

Interested in supporting UH student-athletes for as little as $50?  Can do.  Are you looking for more benefits for the support you have provided UH Athletics in the past?  Check.  Have you ever wanted your own reserved parking space at Aloha Stadium or even access to valet parking at the Stan Sheriff Center?  Absolutely.

All of these benefits and more are available through the H Club Athletic Fund, a new membership program launched by Ahahui Koa Anuenue on February 2nd.  The program replaces the previous sport package program that existed for a number of years.

Premium seat contributions (“PSC’s) for Football, Men’s and Women’s Volleyball and Baseball are counted toward membership qualification.   Thus, many season ticket holders will instantly become H Club members in 2015-2016.  Philanthropic gifts may also be made to H Club to upgrade or initiate membership, thereby allowing all Rainbow Warrior and Rainbow Wahine fans the flexibility to achieve the level that best suits them.

“When researching this new program, we found that our fans have a lot of affinity and passion for University of Hawaii Athletics.  UH Sports is really a cultural experience and part of the fabric of our community,” according to Jon A. Kobayashi, president of AKA.  “What we also learned is that supporters were looking for a program with more ways to get involved that offered even more benefits and value, like reserved parking stalls, invitations to pre-game receptions and valet parking.  Our job is to enhance the fan experience while providing more financial support for the school. The new H Club Athletic Fund achieves all of this and more.”

There are seven membership levels in H Club ranging from Fan ($50) to National Champion ($21,000).  The way the program works is simple: The more money you donate in terms of premium seat contributions and/or philanthropic gifts, the more benefits you receive.  And, once again, the beauty of H Club is that it offers you the flexibility to get involved at the level that is right for you.  For a complete listing of H Club Athletic Fund levels and benefits, please visit www.koaanuenue.org/hclub
