Board of Directors

A volunteer Board of 40 individuals governs the direction and operations of ‘Ahahui Koa Ānuenue. We thank these men and women who give tirelessly to support our goals.

Anthony R. Guerrero, Jr.
‘Ahahui Koa Ānuenue Board member since 2004, and currently Chairman.

Tony Guerrero is the Vice Chairman and group manager in charge of Retail Banking Group of First Hawaiian Bank. He oversees management of 62 branches (57 in Hawai‘i; 3 on Guam; and 2 on Saipan), and also other retail areas of the bank including Sales & Service Division, Bank Properties Division, Japan Business Development, Service Delivery, Call Center and Retail Info & Planning.

Tony’s community activities include President of The Friends of Hawai‘i Charities (Sony Open in Hawai‘i), Chairman of the Oahu Transit Services, Inc. (The Bus), and President of Na Koa Football Club. He is also a director of the following organizations: Child & Family Services Real Property Inc., Hawai‘i Community Foundation, Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center, Hawai‘i Visitors and Convention Bureau and many others. He was the former Chairman of the Board of the Stadium Authority, Child & Family Service, Hawai‘i Visitors & Convention Bureau and the St. Louis Education Foundation as well as President of Waialae Country Club.

Donald M. Takaki
‘Ahahui Koa Ānuenue Board member since 2003, and currently Vice Chairman/Chairman-Elect.

Donald M. Takaki is currently Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of HawkTree International, Inc., a diversified holding company, consisting of Island Movers, Inc., Pacific Courier, International Convention & Event Services (ICES), Pro-File Record Systems, and HawkTree Land. He also serves as a director for Bank of Hawaii Corporation, Hawaii Hotel and Lodging Association, and the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau, where he served as Chairman from 2004-2006. He is also the former Chairman of the Hawaii Convention Center Authority, a former board member of Hawaiian Airlines, and was recently inducted by Aloha Festivals as the new Chairman for its Board of Directors.

Takaki is also well-known for his long standing commitment and ties to Hawaii’s community. He is the Chairman of the City & County of Honolulu Parks & Recreation Board and has served for many years on the Iolani School Board of Governors. He is the President and General Manager of Pacific Region Baseball, Inc. and Hawaii Island Movers, a summer collegiate baseball team entering its 23rd season. Takaki has also been a longtime supporter of Hawaii athletes and has provided numerous opportunities to play in such places as Alaska & the US mainland, Japan, and Korea. He has been honored by the Aloha Bowl in 1988 as Sportsman of the Year and was awarded the Chuck Leahey Memorial Award in 2000 for Outstanding Service to Baseball in Hawaii. His generosity and support have also benefited the Hawaii High School Athletic Association and has made possible a higher quality of play through the experiences and exposure that teams have.

Bonny Amemiya
‘Ahahui Koa Ānuenue Board member since 2006 and currently Treasurer.

Bonny is currently the Director of Finance for Anheuser-Busch Sales of Hawai‘i. Her community activities include acting Treasurer for Aloha Harvest, Board member of Hawai‘i Food Industry Association, and Past President of Financial Executives International – Hawai‘i Chapter.

Jean E. Rolles
‘Ahahui Koa Ānuenue Board member since 2002 and Corporate Secretary since 2003.

Jean “Jeannie” Rolles is a senior member of the hotelier Kelley family of Waikiki. Founded by her late parents, Outrigger Enterprises is one of Hawai‘i’s top 250 businesses and Jeannie serves as Vice President, Community Relations for the organization.

Jeannie’s community activities include serving on the East-West Center Board of Governors, Chaminade University Board of Regents, and UH College of Business Administration Advisory Council. She is also a director of American Red Cross Hawai‘i Chapter, YWCA of Oahu, Honolulu Academy of Arts, and many other organizations. Jean also serves on the US President’s Advisory Committee on the Arts of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC.
