University of Hawaii Football Centennial Celebration Gala	Dec 2 2009	Sheraton Waikiki Hotel	Help us celebrate the 100th Anniversary of University of Hawai‘i Football! Since first taking the field in 1909, the UH football team has thrilled its fans worldwide with more than 20 bowl apperances, dozens of All-American players, NCAA record-breaking performances and a magical 2007 season which catapulted the program to the college football elite. Also, join former UH head coaches and players as they help us to celebrate the rich history and proud tradition of University of Hawaii football. Keynote speaker Dick Vermeil will share a unique perspective on this historic event. Vermeil’s football successes have been well documented including upset victories in the Super Bowl and Rose Bowl. He is known for being an excellent motivator and innovator on the football field.
