Ways to Give

Outright Gifts

Cash
Cash gifts are an excellent way of supporting the UH Mānoa Athletics Program and the Endowing the Legacy Centennial Campaign.

Securities
Stocks and bonds can easily be transferred to the University of Hawai‘i  Foundation to support your designated gift area.

Real Estate
Marketable real estate may be contributed and sold immediately to benefit UH Mānoa Athletics.

Planned Gifts

Bequests
You may leave a statement in your will or revocable living trust to designate a distribution of cash or property in support of UH Mānoa Athletics.

Charitable Remainder Trust (CRT)
A charitable remainder trust is created when you place gift assets into a trust. The UH Foundation will serve as trustee and invest the assets. The trust pays you or your beneficiary an income for life or a specified term of years. The trust principal passes to the UH Foundation for the UH Mānoa Athletic program at the end of the trust’s term.

Charitable Gift Annuity (CGA)
A charitable gift annuity is a planned gift where you contribute cash or property to the UH Foundation and, in return, receive fixed, lifetime income payments for you or your beneficiary. When you or your beneficiary dies, the remainder of funds will support the UH Mānoa Athletic program of your choice.

Beneficiary Designations
When you name the UH Foundation as owner and beneficiary of a life insurance policy or qualified retirement plans, a Memorandum of Understanding with the Foundation will direct proceeds to support the UH Mānoa Athletic program.
